Noga Shani joined Sikkuy in 2019 as Coordinator of Geographic Committees in the Equality Policy Department. Noga is an urban planner, holding a B.A. in Geography and Interdisciplinary Studies in the Hebrew University and a M.Sc. in Urban and Regional Planning in the Technion. Noga studied the Israeli center/periphery relations from a critical viewpoint, publishing several articles on the subject. In recent years, Noga has been working in the private sector, serving as a social consultant and public participation in a variety of plans and programs: city zoning plans, urban renewal programs, strategic planning etc. In addition, throughout her career Noga gained much experience in working with local authorities and government ministries. Noga resides in Haifa’s Hadar neighborhood.
