Dear Sikkuy Friends,
We know that many of you are not in Israel at this time but we are certain that some of you are!
So we would like to invite those of you who are here to join us in Haifa on September 21 for the 2011 Sikkuy Conference showcasing our advocacy work for policy change in major government ministries and statutory bodies.
And there will be a special treat. World-renowned Israeli author, A.B. Yehoshua, will be speaking in the first plenary about "Scenarios for Jewish-Arab Relations in Israel in 2020".
The conference, FROM BARRIERS TO OPPORTUNTIES (see full program schedule on the right) will be conducted in Hebrew and Arabic but THERE WILL BE SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION TO ENGLISH
This conference culminates three years of very intensive work of Sikkuy's "Seat at the Table Project" and will present 3 new pathbreaking policy papers - findings and recommendations.
If you can't make it... we hope you will pass this invitation onto friends and colleagues who might be interested in participating. The conference is open to the public.
