The First Sikkuy Seminar will be an opportunity for Sikkuy's friends from across North America to convene in New York for an exciting day of learning, discussion, sharing, suggestions and planning for the future. Robert L. Bernstein, is the former chair, president and CEO of Random House, Inc. and the founding chair of Human Rights Watch.
Dr. Khaled Abu Asbah, Co-Chair, Sikkuy - Topic: Is equality between the Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel attainable?
Dr. Khaled Abu Asbah is a widely published expert and on Arab youth and Arab education in Israel. He received his doctoral degree from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Bar Ilan University in 2003.
Dr. Ilan Peleg - Topic: Israel’s Majority-Minority Relations in a Comparative Perspective
Dr. Ilan Peleg is the Editor-in-Chief of Israel Studies Forum: An Interdisciplinary Journal, and the author of the recently-published Democratizing the Hegemonic State (published in July 2007 by the prestigious Cambridge University Press).
