Kamli Tayoun joined Sikkuy in August 2019, as coordinator of various activities and projects to promote fair media representation of Arab citizens: the ACT Project, the A-List database of Arab experts for the Hebrew media, and the project to promote fair media representation and coverage of Arab citizens. Kamli is a social activist and an experienced and well-known journalist, who has gained deep communication with the media during her six years working on a weekly news program in Arabic on Channel 10, as well as on the “Musawa” channel. In addition, Kamli brings with her a wealth of political speakers experience from her work as parliamentary adviser and speaker in the Knesset for MK Ayman Odeh and MK Aida Toma-Sliman. In her training, Kamli is a community social worker who has managed a number of third sector projects in Arab society in Israel.
